Manetho on Trial

For centuries, the Egyptian priest-historian Manetho has deceived us with his cleverly contrived dynastic lists of Egyptian kings. Archaeologists, even today, are simply ‘manipulating’ the archaeological data, albeit unwittingly, to fit Manetho’s contrived chronological framework without questioning or challenging his work, even when the evidence calls for it. This paper draws back the veil and reveals how Manetho has managed to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. When you have read this report, you too will be wondering how it is that Manetho has been allowed to get away with this deception for so long.

An Analytical Review of the Campaigns of Sennacherib from a Biblical Perspective

Those who have already undertaken an analytical review of Sennacherib’s campaigns have done so firmly adhering to the Assyrian and Babylonian chronology and abandoning the Biblical chronology. To date, no one has examined the Assyrian records from a Biblical perspective. When we do so, we obtain some very interesting results. Be prepared for some shock revelations along the way. A Radical Review of the Chaldean and Achaemenid Periods

The Bible holds the key to our understanding of the Chaldean and Persian chronologies, but academics choose to ignore it in favour of the Babylonian Chronicles which are shown to be contrived. The Greek writers have to some degree followed these misleading Babylonian records, but have succeeded in confusing matters even further by not understanding what they were dealing with. It does not help when the kings of the period under consideration used identical names. In this article, we ‘rewrite’ the chronology of this period. Ninus and Semiramis - Exploding the Myth

Ninus and Semiramis are often portrayed as the progenitors of the Assyrian race. What we shall find is that the story is a myth which started with the Greek historian Ctesias writing around the end of the fifth century bce, a story which became more and more embellished over time. In this article, we trace the source which provided the inspiration for these fantastic stories about a woman who supposedly accomplished many great feats in times when women were subservient to men, and long before the emancipation of women. (NB: This is extracted from the main work Ancient History Reconsidered and is also included in Legacy of Edom.)

The Significance of Passover

The Passover is an important Spring festival which was established as an everlasting ordinance for God’s people. The festival not only celebrates the Passover which took place in the time of Moses, but is also a reminder of the Passover which will take place in the end days just before the Moshiach (Messiah) arrives. Few people understand the importance of this festival.

The Ineffable Name of God

Jehovah? Yahweh? Yahwah? How should the Hebrew word יְהוָה be pronounced? This word is translated as “Lord” in the Authorised Version and is pronounced “Adonai” in shul (synagogue) and “HaShem” (meaning simply ‘the Name’) otherwise, but more and more Christians are reading the name as Jehovah or Yahweh or similar. This article looks at the origin of the name and the implications this has on our understanding of the Bible.
